Winners will be notified and photos displayed at Steampunk Central during the 2018 Steampunk the Thames Festival.
We don’t want to restrict, define or bottle up a tinkerer’s creativity but for safety and functionality reasons please keep main dimensions to nz post specifications
Terms and conditions
We prefer entries to be completed via the online registration form below, however they may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org along with hi-res JPG or PDF format and under 5MB (see Link to PDF) or send to Steampunk the Thames, P.O. Box 766, Thames 3540 with a 6” by 4” photo attached to registration (please allow time for delivery before close date/time).
Competition open for all Thames Ward residents only. Thames Ward boundaries as set by Council including Thames Coast to Kereta, Thames township, Kauaeranga Valley and part of Kopu-Hikuai Road, Thames South to Hikutaia.
All letterboxes must comply with the NZ Post Mailbox Specifications. https://www.nzpost.co.nz/personal/receiving-mail/mailbox-specifications
By entering the competition, you give permission for judges to come and view your letter box for judging (physical addresses of letter boxes to remain confidential and not be disclosed to any third party).
Entries close at 5pm of Monday 15th October 2018. No late entries will be accepted.
By entering the competition, you give Steampunk the Thames Inc permission to use any photographs/images of the letterbox for promotional purposes, display or share on social media..
All entries must have been designed specifically for this competition and must be the sole work of the artist who signs the registration form.
Designer/Artist must have permission of the property owner before 'Steampunking' their letterbox.
All winners will be announced on Friday 2nd November 2018 and be notified by phone or email. Winners will also be published on our Facebook page and website.
The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
